What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by September 30th 2026.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Our dress code is cocktail. We ask that you wear a suit or formal dress. Tuxes and floor-length gowns are not required.
What are the addresses of the ceremony and reception venues?
Our wedding ceremony will be held at the Church Of Saints Peter And Paul, Puhoi (83 Puhoi Road, Puhoi). The ceremony will begin at 3PM, please be seated by 2:45PM.
Our reception is kindly being hosted by David and Sandra Frain (16 Puhoi Close, Puhoi), this is walking distance from the church. The reception will start at 5:30PM.
How can we get to the venue?
There is some parking available to the Church in the gravel lot beside the building, however there is parking for immediate family only at the reception. Orewa is approximately 10 minutes drive away from both venues and Albany is approximately 20 minutes drive.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our afternoon ceremony will be indoors, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place outdoors. Guests will walk to the reception from the church and will have some lawn games during cocktail hour. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
Do you have a gift registry?
We do not. The most important thing to us is that you're able to come and celebrate our wedding. However, if you wish to give a gift, we would graciously accept a contribution toward our first home deposit.
What is the best airport to use? / Where should we book accommodation?
For domestic and international guests, Auckland Airport is best to use. There are regular shuttles that connect to public transport. We recommend looking for accomodation around Orewa or Albany. Orewa has hotel, motel and private accomodation option, but is a beach town so these book up fast. Albany is closer to the city and shopping malls, offering some newer accomodation options.
Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?
Kindly choose wedding attire in any colour but shades of blue. Shades of blue will be worn by the wedding party and immediate family.
Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Children are absolutely welcome at our ceremony, we would love to celebrate with all of our loved ones present. Our reception venue, however, is not ideal for children. Please feel free to reach out to either of us for some more information about the limitations of this venue.
